A-6E, A-10, f-14b, f16 now use the same /Aircraft/Instruments-3d/altimeter/altimeter.ac et altimeter.png
They still keep in their own tree their own altimeter.xml file due the lighting specific colors.
A few other instrument shared the textures with the altimeter, fixed by adding numbers.png
Next step: improve the generic instrument to display negative altitudes.

- Reduced the violent pitch up issue while turning hard at hight speeds. It is still there at speeds of 500kt + but not as violent and much more manageable.
- Ghost fuel tank in the menu fixed.
- Added the larger wing tanks as an option so you can have an increased range.
- Custom HUD added to fit the jags HUD glass.

Removed the AH-1 due to licensing problems.

This model was a FlightGear adaption of an FSX model available here:

Upon close examination and comparison of the mesh structure of the original FSX model and the FlightGear version, it became *very* clear that the two were identical.  Also, a similar conclusion could be drawn from the texture/paint-job layout and the UV unwrapping.  All of these were a direct copy and would have been
different for indepenent/original efforts.

The original license distributed with the Alphasim AH-1 reads:

  COPYRIGHT INFORMATION

  These files are freeware. Please amend/distribute as you see fit.

  They are unsupported, so please do not e-mail us if you have problems.

  Under no circumstances may these files be sold or uploaded to a payware
  site or any kind of illegal warez site.

As a result, it's ok to make a FlightGear adaption of this model, but the
FlightGear version can't be distributed under the terms of the GPL and
must be distributed separately.

Right now our policy is that all models included in our core git repository must be licensed in a GPL compatible way.  That is not possible with this model due to the original license terms of the original author so the model must be removed from our repository.
