It adds a log table to the database to cache information for several source tables and to track activities that are not logged in standard status.net. There's a script to load previous activities that can be extracted from existing data. This can be run to setup historical data when first run. The script can run repeatedly without duplication. It has to be enabled before it's used and there are a few settings to configure how it's used. There's also parameters that can be set on the view urls to control how much information should be sent.
