Status Report – May 15th 2010

Even busier this week, but somehow I got stuff done :P.

This Week:

Karl Vollmer (vollmerk) sent me an email, offering us web services (Blog, Bug Tracker), me Amdroid Git Repo access, and permission (by proxy) to use the ampache-mobile icons
Merged amdroid-h and amdroid repos (this took a bit of work, due to some changes upstream)
Finished up the Git Developer’s Guide (I've used it myself about 4 times already :P)
Started to look at the blog software
Started working on the Coding Standards (this one’s gonna take a bit of time and research)
Got permissions to the bug tracker (I want to start using it, once things settle down a bit, I’ll try to get you guys accounts, as some of the bugs are pretty easy to fix, or already fixed)
Packed up my dev machine, so now working from an Asus EeePC 901. I'm used to it, so not a big deal.
Answered questions, had a misundersanding with iix about the Android SDK versioning (100% my fault :P)
Researched about flashing my device to Android 2.0/2.1, but ran out of time (and not necessary atm)

Next Week:

I'm really really busy this week until Saturday (my trip starts), so anything I get done is bonus
I will be close to email, so feel free to ask (always got time for email :P)
If vollmerk sets up the external wiki, then I’ll migrate to it (I want tables D-:< )
If purdyk releases to the Android Market this week, I’ll make a release post in the blog

This Week:

Worked on a script to provide an interface for downloading TiVo recordings through Ampache (Almost done)

Next Week:

Unfortunately I won’t be able to get anything done as I’ll be away Wednesday through Saturday

Continue making improvements in the new GUI
Resolve the issue where shuffle and repeat is forgotten when switching to landscape or exiting.
If there is time start looking into landscape layouts
